« They didn’t know it was impossible so they did it ! » says Johann after winning the Moto2 world title again, when he bravely put it back in 2016.
This audacity convinced Bernard Fau, former Continental Circus rider, to follow and film Johann in his quest for the Holy Grail, to become MotoGP champion. Nothing predisposed the teenager to leave the family cocoon to live with his future mentor, Laurent Fellon, and thus write his own story. By meeting Johan, the director could not choose a modern rider with a more singular career. Identification did the rest.
This film recounts a life dedicated body and soul to running, showing both the accomplishment of the athlete in his passion and the man asserting himself at the dawn of his 30th birthday.
